Family, Sitters, and Birthdays
Although I prioritize a great deal of my time to newborns, I enjoy photographing families, children, and newly engaged couples. My goal was to increase my engagements for 2015. I was happy to have the opportunity to photograph an engagement and a wedding this year. Additionally, I wanted to build my portfolio with sitter sessions. And I got to meet the best little guys and gals. I hope to increase sitter sessions in 2016 as I have built a small assortment of cute outfits and bonnets for them.
Lastly, I spent a lot of time planning Home for the Holidays session. Figuring out how they would work, cost, and time needed to make my vision come to life. I was very excited to have the opportunity to work with a great family to see how my ideas would come together. I hope to have families see how awesome these photos are and get excited to participate in these sessions next year. With the trial and error of figuring out what I want to do with my business, I’ve decided that at this time mini sessions are not for me. So in 2016, I will not plan any mini sessions during Easter, Fall, or Christmas. However, regular sessions will always be available for clients interested in capturing family photos during these peak times.
I love that I learned so much from myself and my business this year. This category had a lot of model sessions, and I appreciate every model that came to me. You all were amazing. Thank you for letting me experiment with my creativity this year. My future clients thank you, and I thank you so much!
