Welcome to October! October has entered the scene with cool weather, the end of my favorite Chick-fil-A drink (mango peach tea), and the beginning of everything pumpkin and spiced at Starbucks. I went to Hobby Lobby the other day and their store is filled with fall decor to spice up your home for the season.

I wanted to share this pumpkin themed first birthday session from this beautiful baby whose parent’s loved everything Charlie Brown. We decided to do a classic Great Pumpkin theme as well as a more classic shabby chic style of pumpkin session for them.

I loved pulling out this vintage-style teepee for the session. My kids and I also enjoyed looking for white and light green pumpkins and gourds at HEB and Kroger to elevate the standard pumpkin look.
